You’re Not Alone

Life is meant to be lived. You’re allowed to ask questions. You can live a life experiencing new things. With the option to change your mind after committing yourself to something. You are free to go after your desires and be exactly who you’ve imagined becoming. The best thing about this life is you realize after a few years, maybe even little as a few months. There are so many versions of you that others have consumed, that you have spent time trying to evolve from. You have the freedom to evolve.

If not looking for yourself, who are you in pursuit of finding? What is living life for someone who has deemed themselves to find comfort in stagnancy. There has to be a way to fit growth into the right frame that encourages you to pivot. Looking back holds no sense of restoration for you. Don’t become a victim to the quicksand of past endeavors that sent you through an unlimited loop of lackluster experiences.

Know That You Are Found in Christ

2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” Your search for something is anchored in your hunger to please Christ. Your desires are no longer rooted in redeeming yourself for others approval, but to be used by God and ignited by His flame.

The old you cannot go where God is sending you. Time to move on. The old you actually has no permission to move forward into God’s blessing because they don’t have the capacity to receive nor take care of it. Your guilt, your shame, even those mistakes have no home here. It’s no longer who you are. You have been made new.

Step into Receival

Allow yourself to be open to receive His goodness. Allow yourself to receive in this new season. Practice saying yes, not only to God but to new experiences. As we are awakening to the newness in our life, we also have to practice our openness to experience things outside of our comfort zone. Even if you don’t know what you’re doing trust that God is directing you to fulfill His promise.

Affirm:

My past no longer defines me. I am made new, and my life is made whole, so all that I see allows me to stand in the overflow.

I feel good today and I hope you do to! There is so much outside waiting for you and I hope this entry encouraged you to accept receiving new regardless of what is holding you back! Leave a comment, a question or maybe just say hi!
