One Small Step Can Lead to the Rest of Your Life
It is such a blessing to have the ambition to execute my podcast. As of today, is Oct. 24, 2025, I have 7 episodes recorded and 6 released. Throughout this journey, I have felt a pulling between going for it and staying dormant. At times we simply lack the belief to go for something that doesn’t feel like us. However, God doesn’t ask us to make choices rooted in our comfort. Instead, He calls us to behave in ways used for His glory.
Nina’s Virtue the Podcast is a platform where faith, creativity and purpose collide. My friends would describe me as someone who is always pushing you to be your best self. To see beyond your limits and do the thing that scares you whilst embracing the calling that was intended for your journey. We only have one chance on this Earth, why not spend it committing yourself to your purpose.
Through the Stillness Birthing Takes Place
I’ve been in a season where an everyday job is no longer what resonates with what God is trying to do in me. He asked me to be in a season of isolation that requires me to lean on Him. Through the good, the bad and the ugly; God is our source. Most importantly, God gently tugs on us to dwell in His presence. To be open to His desires for our life. He may even ask you to revisit plans that weren’t developed properly.
In high school my middle school best friend and I were what is known as today as “certified yappers”. Baby we had the gift of gab! We had a friend who was in digital arts, and we asked for Him to create us a logo. The mock created is the branding that would suit our podcast. Dez and I were going to name it “2 girls with no cents”. It would be a play on us becoming broke college students with no cents or sense! In reflection, it is a fun idea. Which could be a great opportunity to brand.
Now we live in a world where podcasts are taking over! Wouldn’t it be crazy to create something in a industry that’s become oversaturated? For years, I’ve had friends who’ve helped me to see my voice really shifts that narrative for them. It encourages new motives and aligns with destiny. There was a sacred space created, pushing me to a reflective state. Leaving space for God to show up and grant me the wisdom. And He did.
Tools Used to Stay in the Race
On Nina’s Virtue the Podcast I created a 3-part series. I didn’t know what I was going to talk about or share. Through surrender and prayer, I believed that God would grant me the wisdom to create this platform. Provided for me were topics that I could expound on based on the gift of experiences granted to me. Questions started to swarm in my head. I journaled “who you believe you are, and what’s stopping you from living it”? This granted me a structure, providing listeners the 3 keys to access purpose.
Affirm it. Create it. Pursue it.

Affirm it. Create it. Pursue it.
Our faith driven call to action, keeps us steady, engaged and reminded. This is not a passive experience; it encourages tangible action rooted in faith and purpose. It’s transformational! Now is the time you move with your why through Gods plan.
- Affirm it: This is the opportunity to speak your belief, declare your why, and root yourself in Gods truth. This is the key that sets the foundation for your mindset to align with your spiritual growth.
- Create it: This is where planning begins. Being evident that you’ve affirmed the truth you can now make sense of purpose. You intentionally craft plans, goals and steps that align with what God has spoken. Here is where creation is not just an act of doing. You are collaborating with God to bring His promise to light.
- Pursue it: Is there sense in planning if you’re not going to pursue it with purposeful intention? You move boldly, obediently, and faithfully into the opportunities God opens. Faith in motion. Ultimately, it’s a divine opportunity to act even when you don’t see the full picture. An open door to fully embrace His guidance.
Here lies, the mindset which leads to strategy which fuels your action! The spiritual action plan aligning you with the opportunity to walk boldly in your calling. God blesses the hands that prepare in faith, not just the ones that perform. This is an invitation to pursue your daily rhythm. Don’t let expectation be a thief to your experience. You may not be where you want to be, embrace that you’re becoming. Each moment of obedience, each routine you build is the proof that you’re walking in purpose, not performance.
